Change is GOOD!
I remember when I first entered high school...I was ....well.... SCARED! I heard all those stories about the bullies in the back of the bus and how all the older students loved to pick on the freshman. I was determined not to let my fear be shown outwardly but inwardly I was petrified. I actually remember my first day on the bus...my mom, trying to be the over protective parent walked me to the bus...first mistake...second mistake and even worse she kissed me good bye...are you kidding me? My mom kisses me good bye in front of the entire bus...all I could think was~ "I AM A DEAD MAN". Give me back junior high...give me back the title of "king of the school". I did not want nor desire this change in my life.
Change is good....it really is. It helps us grow in all areas of our lives. Little changes to big changes are good...if you are open to them. People who get set in their ways resist change because it goes against all they are comfortable with. Comfort can make us ...well...too comfortable. We don't grow when we are comfortable, we sit back and try to just live. Living is about change, living is about stretching your comfort zone, living is what Jesus calls us to do. Live life to the fullest....Live it with all you've got....live life! That's what change is all about...living life to its fullest!!!
This fall we are going to live life! Yes we have changed times of Mosaic and Club221...the change is so we can reach more and more students. This is a good change....I think you will see that change is good...so stretch...get uncomfortable and live...because you never know when your mom might want to give you a kiss in front of the entire bus on your first day of school....
